At IDM collective, sustainability is the foundation of all our operations and partnerships. We are dedicated to be fostering a greener future though a more sustainable practice, ensuring that our actions and collaborations reflect our commitment to the environment and social well-being.

It starts with you

Partnerships

At IDM Collective, we strive to create a wholesome and positive workplace where diverse collaborators can contribute to a shared social space. We believe that all change comes from within and that in order to support each other, and perform well, you need to start with yourself. By maintaining a healthy workplace culture, we enhance the overall well-being and productivity of our whole team. We value and respect each other’s differences and opinions, fostering an inclusive environment. Our philosophy is grounded in mutual respect and understanding, promoting a culture where employee satisfaction is central.
We put emphasis on selecting partners that share our values and dedication to sustainability. Our goal is to create further shared value through our different collaborations, encompassing locations, products, and shoots. By combining and cross-collaborating between clients, we aim to reduce our environmental impact, by having fewer production days. This holistic approach helps us minimize the resources needed for setting up shoots, production, and operational hours, thus contributing to a more sustainable industry.

Production Practices

In a time where electronic equipment is frequently upgraded or replaced with a newer and shinier model, IDM collective takes a different approach. We focus on acquiring high-quality equipment designed to last. Instead of continuously replacing our electronics and equipment, we loan, rent and customise each setup to meet the specific needs of our clients at locations. Additionally, we support renting over owning and see the great potential in a democratised content production model, where knowledge and resources are shared. By encouraging renting, we reduce the need for excessive ownership and the environmental impact associated with manufacturing and disposing of equipment. This practice aligns with our vision of a more sustainable and resource-efficient industry.
